Economic Empowerment and Innovation Center (EEIC)

About the EEIC

The Kingdom Cares Economic Empowerment and Innovation Center (EEIC) is a regional initiative designed to help close the racial wealth gap across the Washington Metropolitan Region. As the newest program of the new Kingdom Care Center, EEIC exists to empower individuals and families through entrepreneurship, small business development, career support and financial literacy.

EEIC provides a pathway from idea to enterprise, offering incubation, mentorship, and the technical assistance entrepreneurs need to launch and scale thriving businesses. With a focus on communities facing systemic barriers to wealth creation, the EEIC is equipping individuals to transform their financial futures.

EEIC will serve residents across:

  • Eastern Montgomery County
  • Northern Prince George’s County
  • Southern Howard County

Together, this region includes over 346,000 residents in culturally rich but resource-constrained communities disproportionately affected by poverty and financial exclusion. The EEIC’s services are available for the entire Washington Metropolitan Area.
