Calling All Experienced Entrepreneurs and Small Business Professionals

The Economic Empowerment and Innovation Center (EEIC) is inviting experienced business owners and professionals to serve as mentors for the Blueprint Incubator, a 9-week program designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs build strong, sustainable businesses.

As a mentor, you’ll be paired one-on-one with an emerging entrepreneur — offering weekly guidance, insights, and encouragement through the final stretch of the program.

Together, we’re building a cadre of mentors grossing at least $1M annually who are committed to growing the next generation of business leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet weekly (30–45 minutes) with your mentee — virtual or in person

  • Help refine business ideas and strengthen pitch preparation

  • Guide your mentee through: business model clarity, revenue and pricing, marketing and storytelling, and target audience definition

  • Build confidence and accountability through consistent check-ins

  • Attend the year-end pitch competition and celebration on Dec 20, 2025

Mentor Expectations

Mentors are expected to:

  • Commit to 6–7 weekly check-ins (virtual or in-person, 30–45 min)

  • Support pitch preparation and confidence-building

  • Attend the year-end celebration and pitch event on Saturday, December 20, 2025

  • Optionally continue mentoring after the program on mutually agreed terms
