Who Can Shop With Us?

Our clothing center welcomes families in Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Howard counties and Kingdom Fellowship AME church members whose household income falls within our eligibility guidelines. 



We Serve:

Families who are:

  • Residents of Prince George's, Montgomery, or Howard County, OR

  • Members of Kingdom Fellowship AME Church

and…

  • Managing household budgets within our income guidelines

Saturday from 9:00am – 12:30pm and 1:00pm – 3:00pm

 

Before Your First Visit

Confirm Your Eligibility: We ask that you review our income guidelines before visiting our clothing center to ensure this resource is the right fit for your household. This helps make your visit successful and allows us to serve as many families as possible.

Here's What to Expect during Your Visit!

When you arrive for your first visit, our team will welcome you and guide you through a brief orientation and registration process:

Welcome & Orientation
(10 minutes) Learn about our clothing center, what's available, and how to make the most of your visit.
Registration with a Care Coordinator
(10 minutes – 15 minutes) Complete a registration form for the Kingdom Care Center and confirm your household meets our guidelines. We operate on an honor system and respect your privacy. No income documentation required. Just a brief attestation that your household income falls within our posted guidelines.

Total time: 20-25 minutes, then you’re ready to shop!

Return Visits?

Once registered, future visits are even easier! Simply check in at our Welcome Center, and you’re ready to browse. We’re glad to serve you and your family.

Interested in Volunteering?

We need support! There are multiple volunteer opportunities available with the clothing center.  

  • Welcome Center  – Bilingual preferred
  • Shopping Assistant
  • Fitting Room Attendant
  • Cashier
  • Donation Intake
  • Garment care
  • Inventory
  • Replenishment
 

To help you succeed in your volunteer role and ensure every shopper feels welcomed and valued, we provide:

  • A brief orientation covering our mission, values, and approach to serving families
  • Role-specific training (depending on your position)
  • Ongoing support from our team
 

This preparation helps you feel confident and ensures families receive the respectful, dignified service they deserve.

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up through Mobile Serve for orientation and for opportunities.
