James LeBlanc

James LeBlanc serves as the Director of Community Impact at WorkSource Montgomery and is the founder of JML Speaks, LLC, where he delivers powerful keynote presentations that inspire leaders and organizations to unlock greater impact. His work is grounded in the beliefthat people can transform their lives when given access, opportunity, and a second chance.

James’s commitment to this mission is deeply personal. Born an orphan, he faced significant adversity early in life, including struggles with addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. In 2007, he began a transformative journey of healing and restoration that reshaped his future. These lived experiences now inform his leadership, his ministry, and his unwavering dedication to serving others.

In his role at WorkSource Montgomery, James leads community engagement efforts that connect individuals and families to critical workforce and support resources. He is especially passionate about ensuring that underserved communities are aware of and able to access opportunities that can change the trajectory of their lives. His work reflects a core belief: that with the right support and opportunity, individuals can move from hardship to purpose-driven success.

Beyond his professional role, James is an ordained minister, a Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP), and the author of the memoir The Miracle. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Samaritan Inns, a leading recovery community in the Washington, D.C. region.

James lives in Laurel, Maryland, with his wife, their two sons, and their Yorkipoo, Sassie.
