Vickye Hayter, MS, RN, LCMFT

Vickye is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist and registered nurse. She owns a private practice in Kensington, MD. Her 20+ years of experience in health care as a business consultant, public health nurse, health educator, and maternal child health specialist enables her to understand the connection between the physical and mental health aspects of care for her clients. She provides insightful and experiential therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

Vickye obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Health Science from the University of Arkansas, and a Master of Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Maryland. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing from George Mason University to explore the impact of trauma on physical and mental health.

Vickye has been married for 23 years, has 4 children, and resides in Silver Spring, MD.

Erica St. Bernard, M.A., LCMFT 

Erica St. Bernard is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) and the founder of Your Lifes Well. She sees millennial women and men to include couples, preparing them for life and love that prioritizes individual and relational wellness.  Erica seeks to normalize conversations about mental and emotional wellness and the intersection of faith for and with people of color.

VERNON R. WARE, LCPC, NCC

Vernon R. Ware is a clinically licensed therapist with 15+ years of experience in therapeutic counseling and community engagement. Vernon specializes in couples counseling and adults dealing with anxiety, depression and stress management and challenged interpersonal functioning. In addition to his individual and couples counseling practice, he consults with corporate, academic, non-profit and civic organizations to educate, enhance and empower those entities about mental health and working with them to improve interpersonal efficiency. Vernon’s clients include: John Hopkins University Center for Health Equity, AT&T Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force, Bunting Neighborhood Leadership Program and numerous other religious and civic organizations.

Vernon holds a Master of Science degree in Pastoral Clinical Counseling from Loyola University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Maryland Counseling Association and is a National Certified Counselor.
