Mission Statement
The Kingdom Global Community Development Corporation (KGCDC) is a 501(c)(3) mission dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults, and families. We accomplish our mission through a multi-sector approach of public-private partnerships to address disparities in education, employment, housing, and health. Since 2019, the KGCDC has supported four Prince George’s County Public Schools communities (Calverton Elementary, James E. Duckworth Regional, Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle, and High Point) through weekly food distributions, college and career exposure, and financial contributions with the goal of improving the lives of students by helping to eliminate barriers amplified by poverty.
High Point High School is a diverse community preparing students for twenty-first century college and career opportunities through innovative teaching, experiential learning, and academic excellence. HPHS’ vision is to provide access and opportunities that maximize the potential of each student and empower them to be successful global citizens.
The KGCDC-High Point High School Hope In Action Antiviolence Project is directly aligned with the mission of the Kingdom Global Community Development Corporation to improve the quality of life for children, adults, and families. Providing human, physical, and fiscal resources to create an extracurricular program designed to disrupt negative behaviors, patterns, and outcomes for students that could result in violence is an example of the services the KGCDC desires to provide the residents of Prince George’s County.
