Kingdom Care Center — Virtual Tour with Rev. Kendra Smith
VIDEO
A comprehensive walkthrough of our six-story, 100,000+ sq. ft. facility. Features the Welcome Center, Kingdom Market, and Clothing Store, alongside our vision for wraparound care in partnership with Holy Cross Health. Ideal for sharing with prospective partners.
In Q1 2026, Kingdom Cares served families across Prince George’s, Montgomery, and Howard counties by distributing over 627,000 pounds of food, helping provide 523,000+ meals, and reaching 15,000+ individuals through our Fresh Food Market, mobile distributions, and community outreach. With support from donors, volunteers, and partners, we also expanded dignified care through our Clothing Center and new partnerships, helping more neighbors feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
Rev. Kendra Smith and community partners celebrate a significant milestone in the fight against food insecurity. Through public, private, and philanthropic collaboration, our expanded cold storage capacity now enables the distribution of 100,000+ pounds of food annually. Includes an invitation to partner with the Kingdom Cares Care and Action Campaign.
A behind-the-scenes look at how Kingdom Cares brings county agencies, health services, SNAP enrollment, job training, and clinical research partners directly into the fresh food market — so families leave with more than groceries. They leave feeling seen.
Rev. Dr. Matthew L. Watley and Rev. Kendra Smith join Kimberly McBride of Holy Cross Health to outline the mission and impact of Kingdom Cares. This video explores the Holy Cross partnership and the Kingdom Care Center vision—an essential resource for sharing our story with prospective donors.
Samantha, a mother of three, provides a heartfelt testimonial on how Kingdom Cares sustained her family with essential food and diaper distributions during a challenging season. She reflects on how the warmth and dignity she received empowered her to step beyond her comfort zone, eventually leading her to advocate for and welcome others into our community of care. A poignant story of transformation for donor engagement.
